Contractor & Integrator
Over the last year, I have purchased 2 houses in the LA area. Each time I moved in, I needed installation of TV's inside and outside on patio by the pools along with electrical work done since the location of the TV's were not near a power source. Each time I tried to use google or yelp to find someone and each time I had issues finding honest hard-working people that would always try to increase their prices when they saw my cars. These people were also never On -Time which always created a hassle. This December, I purchased a new home in Venice and needed to hire an electrician/TV/Audio installation technician to hang a 60 inch above my fireplace and several 42 inch TV outside. None of the locations had a power source so I needed somebody who knew electrical work too. As a result of my past experiences with shady individuals pretending to be legitimate Electrician who increase their estimates after completing the work, I used goggle but picked a company listed halfway down the page bc I feel that anybody can pay for location near the top. Also, I know people who do their own reviews, so I'm suspect of these search engines. I found the company SunsetHomeTheater a few links down from the top of the page in hopes the companies were more genuine and decided to take shot. Brian showed up early, and most importantly he was gracious and polite to my wife which got everything started on a positive note. Brian installed a 60-inch TV over my fireplace. I was pleasantly surprised when I notice that Brian crawled into the attic to ensure the mounts were fastened properly whereas I’m sure many installers would have just placed the mounts on the Wall and moved on the next project. I also had Brian install a 42 inch on my patio, and a 42inch in my master bedroom; both of which needed new electrical sockets. Brian brought all the mounts and equipment. The work was done perfectly, professionally, and looks amazing. There currently no sight of the wires power sources he installed and even better there was no mess left behind from the drilling and electrical work. Upon completion of the job the transaction was easy and pleasant as I was not asked for more money once the job was done. I also felt Brian was appreciative and grateful for the work. These are qualities I don't find in LA anymore, especially dealing with the people in the real estate business. I generally don't write reviews but in today's popping real estate market, everybody is trying to cut corners, and I'm happy to say I that I found some one that didn't. I'm also untrusting of yelp and other search engines and I think these Internet search engines can prevent good workers who charge less and care more along with have smaller operations or less resources from being discovered. So, I wanted to provide Brian with a review so people who have had similar experiences with strangers who are only interested in the check at the end realize that there are honest hard-working people still left in our city. I would recommend using Brian to anybody who wants high quality work from a hard-working good man that will stick by his quote. Give a Brian a chance and he will not let you down.
